Nick Petrou

Nick began fishing with his dad, a commercial fisherman on the South Shore of Long Island, at a young age. Even though he was surrounded by saltwater, Nick’s fascination with freshwater fishing grew year after year. After graduating from the State University of New York at Cobleskill with a degree in Fisheries & Aquaculture, he eventually moved to Connecticut, with Candlewood as his home lake. Now, Nick currently runs his own pond management business and fishing guide service in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of New York, fishing every chance he gets.
