This October, Simms is urging anglers to purchase its fishing gear not only in pursuit of great fall fishing, but also to help breast cancer patients.

For a limited time only, Simms is offering a special collection of gear with all of the profits benefit Casting for Recovery®, an organization that enhances the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a unique program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing.

“Simms is in a unique position to develop products specific to important causes, none more important than the fight against breast cancer,” says Diane Bristol, Sr. Director, Employee & Community Engagement.  “Many of us have been touched personally by this dreadful disease and we jumped at the chance to work with Casting for Recovery® again this year.”

The collection consists of four products, all custom designed for this collection.  The pink Casting for Recovery Nipper ($29.95) is the same model as the popular Simms Nipper made in Bozeman, Montana; the Casting for Recovery FlexFit Trucker Cap ($29.95) features pink Simms branding; the Casting for Recovery SS T ($24.95) comes in men’s sizes S-XXL; and the Casting for Recovery 16 Ounce Cup ($14.95) is the perfect on- or off-water accessory.  All products will ship directly from Bozeman for a limited time and are available only here.

All profits from the sale will go to the Manchester, VT based non-profit Casting for Recovery® which since 1996 has conducted over 500 retreats for over 7,000 women with breast cancer.  For more information, visit castingforrecovery.org.
