About the Ark Gravity BF-Avid Reel
The all-new Ark Gravity BF-Avid Reel is a high-performance entry point for anglers looking to master ultralight bait finesse fishing (BFS) with a baitcasting setup. Built with a lightweight carbon-fiber frame and side plates, the reel weighs a mere 5.5 ounces, minimizing fatigue and perfectly balanced for ultra-light to medium-light rods. Its casting dominance stems from a 28-mm, 3.52-gram shallow BFS spool sitting on a short-shaft with micro-bearings, designed for instant startup rotation. The result is great casting distance and stability, allowing anglers to consistently throw micro lures as light as 1/64 ounces when using thin PE mainline.
