Winners:

- Gregory Small, Illinois
- Debbie Smith, South Carolina
Wired2fish was proud to partner with Duckett Fishing to give away its new Jacob Wheeler 2.0 series of rods. Three different entrants won a rod from the series that includes casting, cranking and spinning models. Jacob Wheeler, a 4-time Major League Fishing (MLF) Bass Pro Tour Angler of the Year (AOY), had a major hand in helping design this specific series.
About the Jacob Wheeler 2.0 Rod Series

The Duckett Fishing Jacob Wheeler 2.0 is a technique-specific rod series. Built on a semi-exposed split reel seat, these rods maximize vibration transfer by keeping your hand in direct contact with the rod blank. The handles feature grooved, high-impact EVA foam split-grips instead of traditional cork, providing a slip-resistant hold when wet.
The rod blanks are constructed from sanded multi-modulus carbon to shed weight and are reinforced with a carbon fiber scrim layer to prevent twisting under heavy loads. The guide system consists of 316 stainless steel Kigan Artus guides with braid-proof inserts, arranged in a semi-micro configuration. This guide spacing is mapped to reduce line friction during casts and distribute physical stress evenly when fighting fish.
The lineup is divided into casting and spinning models tailored to specific bass tactics. Casting options range from a 6’8” medium-power rod for jerkbaits up to a 7’6” heavy-power rod for flipping heavy cover, including moderate-action models for crankbaits. The spinning side focuses on finesse tactics like drop shots and Ned rigs, offering 6’10” and 7’0” lengths with medium-light to medium power and fast actions.
