Master Caster Fagerstrom Passed Away at 96

Fishing industry veteran, legendary writer, angler and bass fishing hall of famer passed away peacefully in his home with loved ones.

Avid Bass Angler

Stan Fagerstrom of Sun Lakes, Ariz., died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on June 11, 2019. For those that may not have known Fagerstrom you can find his name in the bass fishing hall of fame for his contributions to the sport of fishing through his angling, casting demonstrations, writing and more.

Don Barone penned a great piece on Stan Fagerstrom for us back in 2010. You can read his Stan Fagerstrom feature here.

There was also a great write-up on The Daily News that you can read here

Those of us that knew Stan here at Wired2fish will miss him dearly. He treated us better than we deserved and took some of us under his wing when we were in the early stages of our career.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fans. We’ll have to go back and read our copy of Catch More Bass in honor of Stan this weekend.
