Illinois Fishing surpasses 130 Schools…..

The Illinois High School Association told Wired2Fish today that they have surpassed 130 high schools participating in “The Future Fishes Here” high school competitive fishing  program. Final sign-up day will be October  31st and Dave Gannaway of the IHSA said “I expect us to be over the 150 school mark in the first year.”
Spring 2009 Sectionals will be across the state and the State Championships will be at Carlyle Lake in mid-southern Illinois.
