Bass Fishing Destination Clear Lake Closed

The rains in California have been nothing to ignore. First the Oroville spillway began to erode away with record high water levels and now Clear Lake is at flood levels and the low-lying homes along the lake are in jeopardy. To keep the water from waking into their houses, officials decided late Tuesday night, Feb. 14, 2017 to close the lake to all motorized boat traffic. The expect the ban to last no longer than 60 days because of impending storms that may keep the lake levels from receding for some times.

Many fishing guides and tourism and fishing shops  along the lake are sure to see an impact from the closure.
