Skeet Reese Introduces New Sunglasses for 2014

Skeet Reese, Bassmaster Elite Series pro from Auburn, Calif. anounced his new line of Skeet Reese Sport Optics in partnership with Bimini Bay Outfitters.

Over the past several years, Skeet Reese branded products have become known for their exceptional value. The whole lineup of products consists of premium quality components and features, but strives to deliver it to end users at price points that allow the average  angler  the opportunity to use world class gear. Skeet Reese Sport Optics will feature 6 frame styles and carry a retail price of $29.99.

The lineup will feature 4 different polarized lens options — smoke, smoke with blue mirror, copper and copper with green mirror. All 6 styles will be available with the Smoke, Smoke Blue Mirror and Copper Green Mirror lenses while 2 pair will be available with the Copper lenses as an option. Other features include durable TR-90 nylon construction in most frame styles; polarized, multilayer constructed TAC (triacetate) lenses with a hydrophobic coating and a reusable hard case for storage.

“I’ve always said that I would not endorse what I wouldn’t use myself,” he said. “I still operate that way, and I’ve always known thatanglers  need the chance to have great equipment that doesn’t break their budgets. My rods and reels have been built on this premise, as will this eyewear line. They are stylish, but more importantly, they are high quality and promote great vision on the water.”

Bob Litt, vice president of Bimini Bay Outfitters said this project is unique to this industry. “The lineup is unique to the fishing industry,” he said. “From modern, edgier styles, to two-tone crystal finishes and the Skeet Reese logos, there is nothing in the industry like these in the under $30 category.”

He also was impressed at Reese’s involvement and commitment to the project. “Skeet was involved in everything from the frame styles, to the lenses, to logos and packaging,” said Litt. “I think we really captured his persona in this brand, and he had a lot to do with that. He is a great guy, a tremendousangler  and businessman, and we are proud to be working with him.”

Skeet Reese Sport Optics will be available this spring, at  www.skeetreeseinc.com, Bimini Bay Outfitters and at fishing tackle at retailers everywhere.
