The Z-Man SWAG LT swimbait is now available at retailers across the country. The ICAST 2025 Best Freshwater Soft Lure winner is arriving ahead of the prespawn fishing season.
The Design
The SWAG LT is built around Z-Man’s Over/Under Line-Through Harness and features a hybrid SWAG tail designed to produce a wide, natural swimming motion. The bait maintains consistent tracking and tail action across a range of retrieve speeds, from slow presentations in cold water to faster retrieves higher in the water column.
According to Product Manager Richard Dunham, the goal was developing a harnessed swimbait that is adaptable and easy to use. Z-Man designed the SWAG LT to broaden retrieve-speed flexibility, improve hookup and landing rates, and provide increased durability with 10X Tough ElaZtech construction.
“From day one, the goal was to create the most versatile, user-friendly harnessed swimbait on the market,” he says.
Key features
Bassmaster Classic and Forrest Wood Cup champion and co-designer Luke Clausen adds that the bait’s tuning and hook configurations are well suited for the prespawn period, when bass are feeding more aggressively.
