Evinrude, a leading outboard engine manufacturer will launch their “Evinrude Edge” demo tour on White Bear Lake Thursday, July 26th. Kicking off the event will be Evinrude’s new Vice President of Marketing and International Business Development, Nando Zucchi.

“Our E-TEC G2 is the most environmentally friendly outboard engine on the market without sacrificing torque or power,” said Zucchi. “The demo tour allows dealers and the public to experience our award-winning engines firsthand while learning more about the technology that powers our boaters’ adventures on the water. We’re excited to show the Twin Cities what an Evinrude engine can do.”

The event, designed to demonstrate the technological capabilities of Evinrude’s superior two-stroke engine versus that of ‘comparable’ models from competitors, will be held July 26th to July 29th at White Bear Lake County Park. The event will be open to the public on Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29. Interested boaters are encouraged to register for the event here.

The remainder of the dates are as follows:

August 4-5: Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh, Wis.
August 25-26: Lake Michigan, Milwaukee, Wis.
September 8-9: Lake St. Clair, Detroit, Mich.
September 15-16: Gun Lake, Grand Rapids, Mich.
September 22-23: Lake Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Minn.

BRP, Evinrude’s parent company, recently acquired Minnesota-based Alumacraft and established the BRP Marine Group.

“We are committed to showing dealers and customers alike that the BRP Marine Group is providing exciting and accessible boating experiences to all kinds of boaters,” President of BRP Marine Group and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Evinrude Tracy Crocker said. “It’s fitting that we’re having the first demo tour in Minnesota given our new relationship with Alumacraft. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationships in this market.”

The tour, which will take Evinrude across the Midwest, will conclude on Lake Minnetonka in September.
