Professional Angler Jonathan Henry Passes Away

Unfortunately, today brings another gut punch to the fishing community. Former FLW Tour pro and popular Lake Guntersville bass fishing guide Jonathan Henry has passed away following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was just 37 years old and is survived by his loving wife, Alison.

Jonathan was a very well respected angler throughout the fishing industry. With a Forrest Wood Cup qualification under his belt and career earnings of over $117,000, he was a talented grass and offshore angler. He also ran the successful BassWhacker Guide Service. Here is the last instructional video we shot with him

We have worked with Jonathan for several years and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, laughs and time in the boat with him. He was a fun guy to be around and he will be sorely missed by the entire fishing industry. Fish on, Jon.
