Body Recovered from Fatal Bass Boat Collision

Divers have recovered the body of a missing man who was involved in a fatal boat crash Saturday night. The accident occurred on Stoney Lake, which is located in Ontario, Canada. In total, the accident killed two people and injured four others. One of the boats involved was a Triton bass boat and the other one was an aluminum Bass Tracker. 

The two boats collided at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Young’s Bay and area residents immediately came to the aid of the occupants, as there were three on each boat. A 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second 31-year-old man was missing and it wasn’t until 7:00 p.m. Sunday when his body was recovered by an underwater search and recovery unit. His name has not yet been released. 

The collision remains under investigation and we will provide additional details when they’re made known.
