Theron Asbery has been named the new Marketing Director for American Tackle Company. The Florida based, international company specializes in revolutionary fishing rod components and tackle. Having accomplished multiple fishing industry awards, American Tackle is highly known for their Microwave Guide system.
Asbery joins the American Tackle Staff after having previously served as the Marketing Manager for Yo-Zuri America Inc. Originally from Oklahoma, he is a very decorated tournament angler having accomplished multiple strong finishes in all the divisions of FLW Outdoors, and qualifying for 2015 Forrest Wood Cup. Asbery is also a product of the college fishing program, he fished for Henderson State University before graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing.

Aside from being a competitive tournament angler, Asbery is accomplished in fly-fishing and has experience in freshwater and saltwater kayak fishing, inshore fishing, and offshore fishing.
