Wired2fish’s Jason Sealock just reviewed the new Jenko Savant Swimbait Rod. This rod was designed for large swimbaits but handles a lot of other techniques as well. The 7’9″ rod will handle baits up to 3 ounces but also has a sweet spot for baits lighter. It has a super long handle that is soft and grippy but just may be perfect for deep diving crankbaits too. Even though the handle is long it fits nicely under your arm on the retrieve and isn’t unwieldy and fishes more like a 7-foot rod on the retrieve. This is one that even if you don’t throw giant swimbaits you will want to own.
Congratulations to the winners, your rods are on the way! Thanks for entering and as always, keep an eye out for more weekly giveaways from the Wired2fish guys.
