Evan Prasky
Evan Prasky is a PhD Student in Environmental Conservation at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Growing up fishing in the ponds and lakes of Massachusetts, Evan developed a passion for understanding how environmental changes impact the waters that anglers rely on. His current research examines how recreational anglers across the United States and Canada perceive threats to freshwater fisheries and the conservation solutions they support. Evan's work emphasizes the importance of representing diverse angler perspectives in the research that informs fisheries management policy. When he’s not collecting data or writing, you can find him on the water with a fishing rod in hand.
