The Making of a Professional Bass Angler: Seth Feider

Here’s the story of how MN-based bass pro Seth Feider got his start in fishing as a young lad and leading to his current status as an accomplished professional bass fisherman — a fitting story on the heels of his 2019 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship event win on Michigan’s Lake St. Clair.

Feider comes at us with a bass bum’s story of incremental growth starting at local level competitions, working his way to regional events, and eventually breaking onto the national stage.

Success wasn’t immediate but steady efforts coupled with innate talent led to wins along the way, and perhaps most importantly, the building of confidence that allows Seth to fish to win tournaments instead of just cashing checks. Think you have what it takes to compete at the top levels in bass fishing?
