Professional bass fisherman Terry Scroggins explains how observing the bank and rock types during the spring helps you figure out where bass will be located in anticipation of the spawn. Different types of rock serve different purposes – pea gravel, for example, is an excellent substrate for bass to spawn on, making it a high-percentage spot to fish during the spring.
