A Look at the New Mercury FourStroke – Easy Access Maintenance

Mercury Marine recently debuted an expansive lineup of new FourStroke outboard motors to include the Verado, Pro XS, FourStroke, SeaPro, and Jet.

Part of their “easy maintenance blueprint” is the slick new service door built into the top cowl. Mercury representative Tad Whitten demonstrates the ease in which you can check and fill (if needed) your oil without removing the cowl. He also shows us how fast and easy it is to remove and remount the cowl should you want direct access to the engine.
