Jason shares one of his best days on Kentucky Lake in spring as he talks about fishing with the new Duo Realis Vibration68 G-Fix lipless crankbaits on windy flats when bass are staging around the spawn in the spring. This is a great option for bass on flats in the spring and fall. We like baits you can throw a long way and cover a lot of water until you figure out how the fish are feeding in big areas.

Their original versions are good too, but the G-Fix version adds some tungsten weighting to make the baits do a little different stuff on a retrieve and pause and you can throw them a lot farther.

It’s pretty rare that you find the conditions like this with the bait just showing up on a flat, the wind hitting, the water getting a little dirtier and warming up 10 degrees in a matter of days. That makes for a perfect storm of fish catching and congregating in the prespawn. Check it out!
