Inside the Lucky Tackle Box: Month Four

I am into my 4th month of the Lucky Tackle Box subscription and it’s funny how a guy who already has too much tackle gets excited about getting more by just going to the mailbox.

In the beginning I felt like this might be a bit hokey, but after a short time receiving them, it’s actually far from it. Great tackle, good teaching tools and a magazine with stories from some of my favorite fishing writers too.

The beauty and mystique of the LTB is that you get to pick which type of box you want. If you like to bass fish they have you covered. Panfish? No problem. Maybe you like trout, walleye or inshore; they have that covered, too. The LTB is a great gift for any angler but I have enjoyed the “surprise†factor too.

The LTB is very unique as they have a YouTube channel that covers each bait in technique specific videos. Also included in the box is a tackle box tutorial card and new baits like the V&M J Bug, Mustad Autism Awareness Flip and Punch Hooks and the new Strike King Swinging Sugar Buzz Buzzbait. The 6th Sense Crush Flat 75X, Reaction Strike Spybait and the RAW Bluegill Swimmer are also included.

The Fishhound Magazine is also included in each LTB with stories, tips, solar lunar tables and coupons towards purchases at Tackle Warehouse and other retail locations.

The LTB is much more than a box of tackle; it’s on-the-water technical training as well. You can sign up for the LTB or send one to a friend by going to their website.

Below is a recent tutorial video on the Fishing with a Mission Mustad Punch hooks to give you a taste of the training that goes with it.
