Pure Fishing announces the recent appointment of Hunter Cole as the Sr. Marketing Manager of PR and Media. In his new role, Cole will be responsible for print, television, and interactive media activity for all Pure Fishing brands. He will also work closely with Blue Heron Communications to ensure that the brand message is in the forefront and that media outlets continue to be informed of new product introductions.
Cole has had an extensive 24 year career in the fishing industry. Most recently, Cole served with Mann’s Bait Company as the Director of Marketing where he was responsible for all marketing and media activities. Prior to Mann’s, Cole spent almost 20 years with BASS/ESPN, working as Director, Sponsor Fulfillment, a position that allowed him to develop, implement, and manage all sponsorship activation initiatives. Prior to this, he served as Advertising Director for all BASS consumer publications.

In 1982, Cole was awarded a B.S. degree in Communications and Advertising from the University of Alabama.
Cole and his family will relocate to Columbia, SC.
