Flipping and Pitching Bullet Weight Selection

If you fish soft plastics around cover, you need a good stock of bullet weights, but selecting the proper weight requires some analysis. Elite Series pro and 2016 Bassmaster Classic Runner-up Jason Christie provides some great guidance for the angler that likes to hit and bank flipping and pitching. Christie explains the importance of viewing weight in terms of the total presentation – hook, plastics and weight. Good efficiency and casting accuracy requires enough weight to place the bait in the sweet spot while not dive bombing too fast. This is a great short video if you’re on the go.
