Hollow body frogs can be outstanding at hooking bass, but there’s no denying you’re going to miss some fish too. This is especially true around heavy surface cover like matted grass or in the case of this video, duck weed. The problem is often as much the bass simply missing the lure. The trick then becomes to visually mark the location of the blow up, then get the fish to strike again. FLW and B.A.S.S. pro Jacob Wheeler stresses the importance of casting back to the blow up hole, but skirting the hole itself, rather than bringing the frog through it. He explains his reasoning in the video and proves his case with a nice fish catch that’ll make you a believer in his system too. This is an innovative piece of frog content that’ll help your topwater game.
