Fresh off another Elite Series tournament win, this time on New York’s Cayuga Lake, and having grown up fishing clear waters, KVD has observed bass responding to sound countless times. Sound perks curiosity, and natural sounds emitted by forage like shad, bluegill (bream) and crawfish can spur feeding activity and peak curiosity of nearby predators. The HydroWave H2 is a tool designed to create these conditions through a series of pre-recorded sounds and intensities that match a set of conditions an angler is going to see on any given day of fishing. KVD takes us through his choices for sound profiles and explains how he chooses which setting based on the conditions he faces.
