Great Lakes Captain Chris Williams discusses how to read man-made breakwalls with your electronics, and where smallmouth bass position on them during the spawning season. Breakwalls are erosion prevention structures, and can be found throughout the Great Lakes; they provide excellent habitat for smallmouth bass, so we take a look at how to read this unique structure. We’re looking for eddies, current breaks, big rocks, baitfish – basically anything that’s going to attract and hold bass.
