Chickamauga Guide Catches 49-pound Limit of Bass

Tennessee Fishing Guide Rogne Brown is picking up where he left off last year, namely focusing anglers’  attention on Chickamauga, one of the hottest winter destinations in the country for bass fishing. Brown and his fishing partner for the day, Tim Carini, busted an unbelievable limit of 5 bass weighing 49 pounds. Here is the string they weighed:

  • A 10-pound, 3-ounce largemouth bass
  • A 10-pound, 2-ounce largemouth bass
  • A 10-pound largemouth bass
  • A 9-pound, 9-ounce largemouth bass
  • A 9-pound, 2-ounce largemouth bass

All the fish were caught on a castable umbrella rig made by Dayton Boat Dock with Big Bite Cane Thumpers and Gamakatsu Hooks.

This is a look at the rig he’s using from a trip back in December. Check out more of his amazing catches at his Tennessee River guide Facebook page.
