Savage Gear Sucker

The Sucker will get strikes — from game fish such as musky and northern pike — and when they do, Savage Gear’s new magnetic break-away stinger hook will ensure a solid hookup. The swiveling front hook is connected to the rear hook via steel wire; the rear hook is secured by two high-strength magnets that keep the hook in place when casting and retrieving. At the strike, the magnet releases the rear hook so it pulls free of the lure and reduces the odds of the fish using the lure’s weight to throw the hook. The enticing vibrations of the Sucker’s paddle tail will entice strikes.

The Sucker comes in two lengths (9 and 12 inches) and four weights (5 ½, 6, 11 and 12 ounces) and six colors/patterns. MSRP ranges from $24.99 to $29.99.
