I fished three different colors of the Pencil Popper the past few seasons — the Funky Gill, Midnight Black and Morning Gill. I actually caught a fish at night last fall on the Midnight Black which I hadn’t done on a topwater lure in a while. Most days I threw the Funky Gill. That chartruese and striped sides seems to work in a lot of water conditions and worked on spotted bass, largemouth bass and smallmouth bass on Kentucky Lake, Smith Lake and Table Rock Lake.
Good color selection on DUO Realis Pencil Poppers
