Benefit Tournament for Family of Bill Terry

Many of you heard about the sudden passing of Bill Terry, a dear friend of many and national sales manager for ORCA. Bill was an awesome guy and loved working in the outdoor industry. Bill was a passionate angler and greatly appreciated the family atmosphere we enjoy here in the fishing world.

His wife Patricia and two boys, Harrison (13) & Andrew (9), meant the world to him. They will miss him dearly. A lot is being done to honor their dad and Patricia has done an amazing job of planning ways to memorialize Bill for the boys. Patricia and the family spread some of Bill’s ashes at the Bassmaster Classic and plan to do that at a number of other special places with the boys.

Years ago Bill and some friends organized a wounded soldier event to serve our military heroes by providing a great opportunity for them on Kentucky Lake. To honor Bill and help raise some money for the boys’ future, a benefit tournament is being held in conjunction with the wounded solider event this year. The dates are May 6-7.

This will be a one-time event to encourage everyone to contribute to the cause and make an impact for the family. The fishing community has consistently shown its generosity at these events and we hope you all will be able to help this fine family as well.

No gift is too small or too large! Nick Fulton with ORCA Coolers is the point of contact for the event and for donations. He can answer questions about all opportunities to be involved. His email is copied here with more contact information listed below.
