Plano Pros Feider, Gustafson Set for 2021 Bassmaster Classic

June on Texas’s Lake Ray Roberts could hold a lot of options for anglers fishing the 2021 Bassmaster Classic. Off-shore structure could be key, but it’s Texas, and the shallows and the shorelines could produce a world championship-clinching bass on any cast.

While a variety of techniques could factor into this year’s Classic, quick and easy access to the entire tackle collection is going to be key for pros to remain efficient. Plano’s acclaimed EDGE boxes give Classic qualifiers Seth Feider and Jeff Gustafson the features they need to make quick work of rigging up for a new presentation.

Features like the DuraView crystal-clear lid lets anglers know exactly what’s in the Plano EDGE boxes without opening. The Polycarbonate lid, one handed latch and stainless-steel hinge pins add to the overall durability of the Plano EDGE boxes, making them more than tough enough for professional bass fishing’s biggest stage. Moisture inside tackle boxes can lead to oxidation and ruined tackle-even in Texas-so Plano EDGE boxes feature Rustrictor technology for 360 degrees of effective rust-prevention, as well as a reuseable Water Wick divider and a Dri-Loc O-ring seal to keep water out.

“We’re extremely proud of the fact that the best anglers in the world turn to us to provide them with the most advanced storage options they need to compete for the most prestigious titles in the sport,” said Plano Vice President of Marketing Allen Gerten. “We wish Seth and Jeff the best of luck in this year’s Classic and hope they can use some of the momentum they’ve produced in this year’s Elite Series to propel them to a Classic title.”

Feider, who leads the 2021 Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year race with two regular-season events remaining, is appearing in his fourth Bassmaster Classic. His best finish came in the 2020 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Guntersville where he finished fourth. Gustafson, who won his first Bassmaster Elite Series tournament earlier this season on the Tennessee River, is making his second Bassmaster Classic appearance.
