Jenko Fishing Offspring Buzzbait Winners

Since Bill Harkins designed the first buzzbait and Don and Brent Gentry made it famous with Lunker Lure, not much has changed about them. Some squeak, some rattle, some just gurgle but ultimately it is a pretty simple concept.

The blade is the differentiator and its unique shape makes it go. The technique for fishing it is pretty simple too as it is a cast and wind presentation and the bait does all the work. Speed of retrieve or bending the wire are about the only modifications different than stock.

Buzzbaits catch big fish and when fish bite them there is nothing more fun. They flat crush it.

Jenko Fishing has created a new buzzbait called the Offspring that changes the game in sound and action with the introduction of a spring clacker that can be adjusted that is attached to the head just in front of the skirt to give the bait a unique clicking sound and can allow the Offspring to sashay from side to side on a slow retrieve. The spring also keeps the buzzbait in line and allows for better casts without tumbling. This is one of those “why didn’t I think of that” innovations.

Designed with an extra heavy wire frame, a super sharp hook and a premium skirt the Offspring is a durable lure too. They are available in 15 colors and 2 sizes.

Congratulations to the winners, your buzzbaits are on the way! Thanks for entering and as always, keep an eye out for more weekly giveaways from the Wired2fish guys.
