Jimmy McMillan, 49 of Belle Grade, Fla. was shot and killed early Monday morning Jan. 2, 2012 at his grocery store in what the Palm Beach Post is reporting was an attempted robbery. McMillan was a well-known and well-liked angler and business owner in the community near Okeechobee. He won the FLW Series bass fishing tournament on Lake Okeechobee back in 2009 and his son Brandon won the FLW Tour Open event there in February 2011.
