Winans wins second Weekend Series in a row..

 

 

 

Wired2Fish friend and accomplished Texas angler Brady Winans won his second Toyota Tundra Weekend Series  event on Cedar Creek Lake with 5 bass weighing 18.78 pounds and a big bass of 7.74 pounds. Winans has won 2 of 4 events. He also won the Richland Chambers event in April.

 

Also, noteworthy to this tournament, his tournament partner Scott Dean who fishes against him in the Bassmaster Weekend Series is right behind him in points in second place. They flipflopped places after this event. Dean had been in first. Looks like a tough team in team events.

 

Winans caught his fish on a 3/4 ounce Jewel Football Head jig in watermelon candy. He trailed it with a Big Bite Baits Baby Kriet Creature in green pumpkin. He was using 20 pound Sunline Sniper FC on a Falcon Cara Amistad rod and a Abu Garcia Revo STX. He also caught one of his keeper fish on a sparkle ghost Bandit 300 crankbait.

 

They have 1 tournament remaining in the series.
