Blackwater International Inc., the US distributor of ‘Toray’ fishing line, announces the signing of FLW Tour angler Wesley Strader, who is just coming off of a second-place finish on FLW Tour at Lake Chickamauga, and another second-place earlier this year in the BASS Open on the Red River.

“We are excited to add Wesley to our list of Pro Staffers as Toray continues to grow in the US and into the East Coast,” said Blackwater International President Tracy Kuroye. “He handles himself professionally, and we feel he is a great fit into the direction of the growth of our company.”

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Blackwater International,” said Strader. “Toray is truly the best, and to have this opportunity is exciting. The Upgrade and High Grade fluorocarbon are the best lines I have ever used. They have the lowest memory of any fluorocarbon I have ever used, but still with the low stretch and sensitive qualities you would want to detect the softest of strikes.”

Strader joins a Toray team that currently includes BASS Elite angler Kurt Dove, and BASS Open and FLW angler Michael Murphy.
