The First Annual Lake Guntersville SPRO FROG TOURNAMENT will be held this weekend on August 25 and its not too late to sign up. The tournament is being sponsored by SPRO and hosted by Waterfront Tackle. It will be a five-bass limit tournament with a 15-inch minimum on all species. It can be 1 or 2 anglers per boat with the launch position being assigned as completed entries with payment are received at Waterfront Grocery and Tackle. The entry fee is $110 per boat and includes the $10 big bass pot.
"We are very excited to be part of this annual tournament" said Syd Rives. "Lake Guntersville is a premier frog fishery and the Spro family of frogs is the best in the business. This should be a very fun event."
It's a 100-percent payout tournament to the top 20-percent of the field. Big bass will pay out three places on a 50/30/20 split of the big bass pot.
The payout schedule is as follows based on a 100 boat field.
100 Boats total payout $10,000 in cash, Plus Big Bass of another $1000 total
