ICAST 2012 | Trigger X Adds Popular Shapes To Lineup

Take a look at the new Slop Hopper, Buzz Tail Worm and Goo Bug

Trigger X has focused a lot on scent since their early release and the focus the last couple of years has been on refining and extending their lineup of shapes and actions for different bass fishing scenarios. Everything from drop shotting, to heavy flipping and punching. This year they extended the line-up with three popular styles of baits with their Slop Hopper, Buzz Tail Worm and Goo Bug.

The Slop Hopper is a subtle thin profile swimbait for fishing around grass and vegetation. They come 6 to a pack in several popular color choices. They will make good options on castable umbrella rigs as well as Texas Rigged with a small weight for straight reeling around beds and shallow cover.

The Buzz Tail Worm is a paddle tail worm that is cut to make it a buzz worm for buzzing over the top of vegetation or in shallow water where a buzzbait might be too overbearing. They will be sold 8 to a pack.

The Goo Bug is a beaver-style bait that has a wedged tail that can be split to make it into two tails and side flaps that moved well through the water. The bait rigged well on the new VMC straight shank flipping hook as well. They will come 8 to a pack.
