When we first introduced the Abu Garcia Revo Gen 3 Reels a month or so ago we were pretty blown away already. Now that we've had more than a month to fish with them we love em. The new Premier, STX and SX fish awesome. But here's the skinny on what will make these so popular. They were redesigned from the ground up, starting all over. The made a much larger gear box but they also made it lower profile so it sits down lower on the rod. The result is a reel that feels smaller in your hand and relives fatigue on a long day of fishing. But the bigger gear box gives them an opportunity to use more heavy duty components and achieve true 8:1 gear speeds. The reels are also incredibly light, like nearly 30% lighter in some reels.
The spinning guys will love the addition of several new additions to the Revo spinning lineup to join the Revo Premier Spinning reel. The S and SX Revo spinning reels are cosmetically appealing, lighter offerings with price points that fit a lot more budgets for anglers.
The also completely overhauld the Vendetta line of rods to take advantage of some of their new technologies for weight reduction, added sensitivity and improved durability.
