Quantum introduces the new Tour Tactical Series of Rods. These 11 casting and 4 spinning rods were designed by each of the Quantum pros to fit their fishing strengths and will be the primary rods for these pros on tour. They are lightweight and strong and each one is designed from custom blanks, with the exact handle lengths and guide numbers that each pro demanded for their specific techniques. PacBay T-minima guides helped reduce the weight. EVA split grips and Fuji ECS and VSS grips make the comfortable for all day fishing. Best part is the rods will be around $119.
The Quantum Energy was totally overhauled and redesigned at the $159 price point. The reel comes in 6.3:1 and 7:1 gear ratios and features EVA foam handles, 11-ball bearings, internal ACS and external magnetic braking systems. They also have the optional flipping switch and performance-tuned ceramic drag systems.
Quantum also expanded it's new and popular EXO line with both 200 and 300 wide spool reels for handling larger lines and big rigs like castable umbrella rigs and oversized swimbaits and guys will probably experiment with longlining on the reels too. They will be in the $269 and $299 price points.
