And they're off....
Well actually we're blowing and going already here at ICAST 2012 in Orlando, Fla., but there is a lot to see and only a short time to see it. We will get through as much of the show over the next three days as possible so you're well informed on the new options for your tackle box, boat, and other fishing needs.
Tonight we got the early media viewing of the New Product Showcase where fishing tackle manufacturers can enter new fishing tackle to be judged by the media for a chance at one of the best of show awards for ICAST 2012. There were a lot of cool new rods, reels, lures, rigs, terminal tackle, apparel, safety gear, tools, boating accessories, eyewear, line and more great products in the showcase as always. A few things caught our eye but nothing really jumped out at us yet as the clear Best of Show just yet. We've got a little more time to put in our votes for those.
We do however have just a small sneak peak of just some of the new stuff in store for the 2012-2013 fishing seasons. The lighting and lack of access to the products made it hard to shoot everything we wanted tonight but we'll have a lot more every half an hour tomorrow as best as we can keep up.
