Browning introduced their new line of Zeiss Fishing Collection of sunglasses. The lenses feature some very cool technology that make seeing fish and protecting your eyes a lot better for a variety of fishing situations. The coolest feature we saw was the Ri-Pel technology. They coated a lens of a competitor with half of Ri-Pel and half of it was not coated. They took a permanent marker and scribbled across it and the side with Ri-Pel would wipe right off. That's the beauty of the lens coating. Not only does water wick away instantaneously but it also avoids sweat, fish slime and other materials marking up the lenses.
Their Back Country lens is a real interesting lens for low light early morning conditions as well as overcast days. Several pros have told us about sight fishing early in the morning and on less than ideal days with these lenses and we're anxious to try them out.
