Gerald Swindle shared his boat with Clay Dyer at the Bassmaster Southern Open on Logan Martin. This is a cool GoPro video with music by Swindle’s good friend Luke Dunkin and a great fish catch by Clay at the end of the video! For those that don’t know, Clay was born with no legs and part of one arm and that “minor setback” as he calls it has never dampened his spirit and zest for life or his passion for catching big bass. He’s an inspirational person who helps put things into perspective for a lot of folks.

  1. Just when I’m feeling most sorry for myself, perspective is thrown right in my face. God Bless you G-Man and Clay.

  2. I’ll tell you what, having gone through the cancer merry go round of chemo radiation and phyiscal therapy only to be still messed up and feeling bad for myself, all it takes is watching Clay Dyer fish and suddenly everything gets put back in perspective and I begin to feel better. Thanks for sharing this.

  4. you know when you see that guy and the work it must take to fish with those disabilities there is no excuse why any of us cant apply ourselves to anything with that amount of effort.

  5. G man I gain more respect for you each day man. Always trying to make a difference in someone else’s life. Clay man what an inspiration you are man. Congrats on that nice fish and keep it up man. People look up to you and I wished I could be more like that my man. God Bless you and your family.

  6. Clay is awesome! Dang nice bass he catches there too! Its awesome to see someone overcome such serious setback like he does! I can’t wait to graduate college and become an occupational therapist so I can help people like him on a daily basis
