National Safe Boating Week

By Presidential Proclamation, this week is National Safe Boating week.(May 17-23) It’s a great time to check out all of the necessary items for your boat including a life jacket for every passenger, 50 foot of rope, a fire extinguisher, a throwable device, a whistle or horn, an anchor and a paddle. Be safe on and around the water and enjoy boating this Memorial Day. Wearing your life jacket is a habit and this week is a good time to start.
