Reports from the BASS Elite Series at Fort Madison, Iowa is the Mississippi River is rolling and very muddy. Heavy rains on Sunday have the creeks rolling and the areas that were clean now are not. Some anglers have found a few back water areas that have a few fish but those areas are crowded. Because of falling water locations that anglers could access in practice may be high and dry come tournament day.
Reports from the Corp of Engineers on water levels is they are stabilizing and only dropping 1/10 of a foot per day through the tournament. Our bet is someone will find an isolated dead end slough and will find bass!
