Timing is perfect.......Anglers on both trails are moving north and brown bass are on their radar screens. The FLW is at the Detroit River and BASS will be at Lake Erie in a couple of weeks. Without heavy winds most of the anglers on these tours will be targeting shoals and ledges for post-spawn and summer smallies.

The Fluke Tail Goby is a killer new goby look-a-like that should do its damage on the respective leaderboards as well. The Super Salt Plus Bait is perfect for a Texas rig or a drop shot and its 4.5 inch tapered profile starts with a large goby head, one that momma goby would be proud of, a slender short main body and of course that patented Fluke horizontal split tail. The bottom of the bait is flat and tapers all the way to the tail. Two eyes dot the head to give it a realistic profile and because of the balance of the bait rigging is simple. Drop shotters will use a 1/0 or 2/0 thin wired hook while Texas riggers will find a 3/0 offset to their liking. You can even drag this bait on a Carolina rig or behind a split shot equally as effectively.

Creative pro's might even use a weighted hook or a ball head jig on spinning gear to land a few big brown bass.
