Marty Stone Picasso Tournament Force Spinnerbait

Fish Harder Companies use their pros to design great baits that they use to catch bass and the new Picasso Spinnerbait is no exception. BASS Elite professional Marty Stone is known for his success with a spinnerbait and has designed one that can be fished in numerous situations. Over grass, in open water and in and around brush and wood the Marty Stone Picasso Spinnerbait works well.

A minnow shaped rounded head design allows the bait to deflect off of cover, a short shank hook gives the bait a better hook up ratio and the skirt is trimmed specifically to Marty’s specifications. The model shown is a willow/Indiana blade combo that mimics early spring shad to a “T” and as a result is a great early spring bait. The .032 wire is durable and gives the 3/8 ounce bait great vibration.

We particularly like the tight R bend and the unique Picasso blade wrap for the blade on the Indiana blade end that allow the blades to work well but also adds some noise to the bait when fished around wood. The large clevis for the front blade performs well with a smaller #3 willow leaf as well.

Picasso was a long time spinnerbait mainstay company in the Midwest and the recent purchase by Fish Harder should give it the wherewithal to expand its purview to the national level.
The Inside Scoop
The Picasso Spinnerbait comes in ¼, 3/8, ½ and ¾ ounce models and each wire size is customized for the each size. The ¼ and 3/8 has a .032 wire, the ½ has a .035 gauge wire and the ¾ has a .040 gauge respectively.
