Swindle Continues to Lead at Smith Open

Bassmaster Elite Series pro Gerald Swindle maintains his lead at the Bassmaster Open on Lewis Smith Lake. Swindle grew up fishing the lake with his father and said he fished a lot of areas that they fished when he was a kid. Swindle is junk fishing and has put together two days of bass that weighed 25-2. He leads by 12 ounces right now going into the final day.

Brian Morris is second with 24-6, followed closely by FLW Tour young gun Andy Montgomery with 23-5 and perennial powerhouse David Walker with 22-1. Todd Auten rounds out the top five with 21-13.
