We just got back from the Strike King writers conference held at the beautiful Blue Bank Resort on Reelfoot Lake and to say it was a  success would be an understatement. We shared ideas, took photos, shot videos and man did we eat. Fried Oreos and Twinkies, some of the biggest pork chops ever seen, great steaks and some of the nicest people on the planet are at the Blue Bank. Reelfoot is a great lake and Blue Bank Resort is the place to stay when you are there.

Some of the biggest names in pro fishing and media were in attendance. Strike King pros Denny Brauer, Mark Davis, Greg Hackney, Kevin Van Dam, Mark Rose, Mark Menendez, George Cochran, Luke Estill and James Niggemeyer were on hand.

 

Kim and Danny Stricker from Hook and Look TV, FLW's Sean Ostruszka and Brian Lindberg, Ed Harp and Ken Duke from BASS, Tennessee's Joey Montelone, Alabama's Alan Clemons, Vance McCullough from the Anglers Channel, Dan O'Sullivan from BassWest USA, Matt Pangrac from the BassZone and a host other media representatives got to see the new products in action and talk about what is in store for the future. The most buzz surrounded the latest "Rage" products like the Baby Rage Craw and also included Hackney's Hack Attack jig, the new Rage Smokin Rooster and the Rage Eeliminator to name a few. Some new colors for crankbaits also got the media's attention. Sexy Ghost Minnow, Sexy Blue Back Herring and Baby Carp look spectacular. The new Bottom Dweller spinnerbait will be a hit with deep water fanatics too.

 

Chris Dutton from Vicious and Jake Tippee from Ardent Reels were also on hand.
