Lucky Craft has long held the distinction of being one of the world’s foremost producers of high quality, innovative fishing lures. For more than 10 years, they have also had the distinction of being the title sponsor of Skeet Reese, one of the world’s best professional anglers.
Reese and Lucky Craft are proud to announce that their long history together will continue in 2010 with Lucky Craft continuing as one of the 2009 Bassmaster Classic Champion’s primary sponsors. The announcement means that the partnership that helped produce the 2007 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year and 2009 Bassmaster Classic Championship will be a force to be reckoned with again in 2010.
“I have been proud to wear the brand for so long, and am proud to announce that our partnership will continue,” Reese said. “I have always considered Lucky Craft to be the best lures on the market, they have been a major factor in my career success, and they continue to prove their worth with higher quality products and innovation.”
The agreement means that Reese will continue to display the Lucky Craft brand on his Ford F650 super truck as well as his Mercury powered Skeet Reese Edition Champion 210 and his trademark yellow and black jersey. Lucky Craft logos will continue to be prominently displayed on all three locations.
“I am particularly excited for what 2010 will bring for our partnership,” the reigning Bassmaster Classic Champion said. “Not only will my focus be to produce an improvement of the success of the 2009 season, but we are hard at work on the new products that Lucky Craft will unveil in 2010.”
Reese reported that plans for new lures in both the Lucky Craft and Redemption Lures brands are in the works, along with new colors that will undoubtedly be trendsetters as so many of their premium finishes have become. “These new projects fall in line with the reputation that has made the Lucky Craft brand one of the most sought after in the industry,” Reese revealed.
The agreement also means that Reese can enter his offseason preparations with the knowledge that a primary sponsor is on board. “Having things settled at this point allows me to focus on preparing for the season and what it takes to be successful as an angler,” he said. “With the way the economy has been, the financial aspect of our occupation can be an overwhelming distraction. Lucky Craft’s ongoing partnership, and the familiarity of it, really brings some stability to my career and my family’s life.”

Skeet Reese is a Bassmaster Elite Series pro, he is the 2009 Bassmaster Classic Champion and the 2007 Bassmaster Angler of the Year who has compiled career earnings that total more than $2 million in career earnings. Reese has qualified for 10 Bassmaster Classic appearances, and has finished in the top 10 47 times, including four wins in BASS competition in an 11 year career.
