Hanna Robbins is the wife of Wired2Fish contributor Pete Robbins and recently took a trip with Pete to El Salto. Below is her comments about the gender battle that she unltimatley won. Great job Hanna. We are ready for some pictures of you smiling and Pete with a humbled frown on his face.
Since you've been so kind as to publish a lot of Pete's writing over the years, I'm hoping you'll post a message from me in the "What's Up" section on Wired to rebut some of the points he's made in the past. He's always telling me that he needs a nearly infinite variety of lures to be successful on the water, but I found out last week at El Salto that that's a bunch of crap. He and his friends packed about 500 pounds of tackle and I caught just as many fish as any of them with a 100-count bag of 8-inch Kicker Fish Holeshot Lizards (watermelon). Every time Pete turned around to grab another rod he'd have to watch me set the hook on another Mexican bass. Just thought I'd let you know that the girls can catch 'em too, and we don't need near as much tackle to get the job done as the boys seem to think is necessary.
