Reeves Marine hosting anglers with Fan Fest contests, events
Reeves Marine Center in Shreveport will be buzzing like a hornet's nest hit with a 1-ounce jig this week during the Bassmaster Classic festivities with its own "Fan Fest" activities.
The Skeeter dealership has been prepping for the Classic for more than a year and is set to welcome all the anglers and fishing fans. Reeves Marine Center is located next door to the CenturyTel center where the Classic weigh-ins will be held Thursday through Sunday.
Reeves Marine is holding a cool contest, too. Just go by and guess the combined weight of 10 bass in the tank at the dealership and fill out a registration form. The contest ends at noon this Saturday, Feb. 21, and the two contestants with the closest guesses will be contacted to return to Reeves Marine that evening.
Then, the two will have a chance at winning a Skeeter I-Class boat, Yamaha Rhino, $2,500 or a $500 apparel package. What a sweet deal! There also will be a drawing that night for a Yamaha Scooter valued at approximately $2,500.
That's some kind of contest right there! How good are your guessing abilities? Will a 2-pounder look like a 3-pounder? What if there's a giant bass in there? Can you get close to the total weight?
Friday's "Game Show" contest
That's not all, either, because Friday night at Reeves Marine they will be holding a drawing for two people who will participate in a mock game show called "Are You Smarter Than a 2009 Bassmaster Classic Contender?"
The topics will pertain to Classics, general fishing and tournament history. The winner will receive $1,000 from Skeeter Boats!
Laserlure will also be on hand showcasing their new baits at Reeves in their casting tank as well. Check them at at the night festivities.
